With representative works in the permanent collections of more than 30 museums worldwide, Takenobu Igarashi is one of Japan’s most influential designers and multidisciplinary artists of the modern era. His pioneering approach to typography has shaped some of his most recognized works, including official identities and logos for major international brands.
 
Igarashi’s distinctive typographic sensibility is expressed in the Eki Clock, created as a public timepiece for the lobby of Sapporo Station in Hokkaido. Installed as both a functional clock and a work of public art, the original features two contrasting versions: a white clock face with black markers and an inverted black face with white markers.
 
The Eki S Table Clock brings Igarashi’s iconic design into a more compact format. Handmade in Toyama, Japan by Lemnos craftsmen from Aluminum, it is available in White, Black, and Gray—the latter introduced as a 15th Anniversary model.
 
The S version includes a removable stand, allowing the clock to be displayed on a tabletop or mounted on the wall.
