Designed by Riki Watanabe, the master designer who played a pioneering role in the development of modern Japanese design, the Riki Clock is an enduring design classic and one of Lemnos’ signature timepieces.
The Riki Clock was created with a focus on clarity, simplicity, and lightness. Its large, highly legible numerals and carefully balanced hands make reading the time effortless, while the precisely formed circular plywood frame gives the clock a distinctive yet understated presence. The design received the Good Design Award in 2004 and was selected for the JIDA Design Museum Selection.
The plywood frame is handmade by skilled craftsmen, using techniques refined through years of woodworking and instrument-making. Its clean proportions and natural material allow the Riki Clock to complement virtually any interior, from contemporary living spaces to offices and commercial environments.
