Simplistic, minimalistic, utilitarian.  The Lines PLY and Numbers PLY are original Plywood Clocks designed by Yota Kakuda the product designer for MUJI.  
 
Lines PLY utilizes longer hour and minute hands, with the intention of attributing them with the same level of presence as the numbers on the face. 
 
Kakuda's Numbers PLY employs largish numbers that are very easy to see from any angle of the room.  With both, the overall balance and the details were decided on with a premium utilitarian use of sophisticated minimalism in design.
