Paper-Wood is a new type of plywood developed through a two-year workshop based on the idea of material design—creating a product by starting with the material itself.

The design of the Paper-Wood Clock is kept simple to bring out the natural character of the material. Carefully considered details allow the clock to combine the presence of Paper-Wood with the basic function of telling time.

The lines and dots that indicate the hours are precisely processed using CNC woodworking technology. By engraving into the layered plywood, the colored layers are revealed to create a distinctive pattern that is unique to Paper-Wood.
