Designed by Kazuya Koike, whose work includes products for BenQ, Asahi, and Tiger, the Lemnos DRAW Clock is a design classic inspired by the expressive quality of hand-drawn typography.
 
Koike approached the clock face by reconsidering how numbers behave when separated and arranged around a dial. Rather than selecting an existing typeface, he developed the numerals specifically for the clock, gradually adding and removing lines until each form achieved the right balance between legibility and expression.
 
The resulting numerals are deliberately reduced, yet remain recognizable through their position and arrangement on the dial. This gives DRAW a distinctive graphic character while maintaining the clarity required of a functional clock.
